Released in a promotional Best Buy Holiday disc, Sweet Treats, in 2003, which includes Christmas songs from artists Seal, Jewel, Chris Botti, and Sting. It features Chris Martin on piano and vocal, the normal staple for a Coldplay song. It is a cover of The Pretenders song "2000 Miles" released back in 1984 on their Learning To Crawl album with a few pronoun chanes in the lyrics.

Q. Hi Oracle! Wikipedia told me that 2000 Miles was available as a download on the official website, and as I know that this is the official website, but the song was covered a long time ago. Is there still a chance that I can download this song on this site, or is that not possible?

The track was first available from 16th Dec 2003 until 1st Jan 2004 which was appropriate to the lyrics; the Christmas period.
The cover had been recorded by Chris while on tour in the US that year.
As it was available for a limited time only, you can no longer download it from this site. However you can still hear it on the timeline.

2000 Miles is a cover of The Pretenders classic that Coldplay covered in 2003. It was available as download only and ended up being the top selling UK download that year, with proceeds from the sales donated to Future Forests and Stop Handgun Violence campaigns. You can find it on the Internet via search engines.
