What an amazing night! Chris Martin seemed to be really enjoying himself too. When the yellow balloons filled with glitter came tumbling down on the audience during yellow, there were two balloons still left on the stage unpopped. So, Chris Martin of course felt obliged to pop each of them by leaping on them and putting his full body weight on them until they exploded in gold glitter underneath him. A couple of songs later he said "A word of advice, don't try to pop giant balloons filled with glitter by jumping on them. It hurts like F**K!" They ended the show with Swallowed In the Sea, In My Place, and of course the amazing Fix You. I was sitting in the upper level seating, and by a bizarre bit of luck, Chris Martin decided to actually run through general admission, up the stairs through lower level seating and up to the landing of upper seating. He sung the last couple of bars of In My Place standing right in front of us! I couldn't believe our luck.

Excellent show. Even my mother loved it and she's 60! Just shows they're mass appeal.

Chris Martin you're a true showman! Thanks for an awesome night!

[Thanks Chris]

I thought Coldplay were brilliant, the energy of Chris Martin is amazing and having queued up for about an hour I was thrilled to get 2nd row on the floor, made for very up close viewing!

Great song set except I wish they had played "The Hardest Part"... Only downer was the long time waiting between Youth Group and Coldplay to come on.... the very average rap music was grating on people and the 45 min plus wait was too long for those on the floor who couldn't leave their possies in case they lost them... But all in all a great concert...

well what can i say. last night the boys threw an amazing concert at rod laver. leaving the crowd speachless. chris. guy. will and jonny. ledgends of our time. after a 40 minute wait youth group led the concert to a good start, but after a while the crowd became wrestless and thrived for coldplay. forever young was about the only song the crowd knew.

the break from youth group to coldplay was long and rough. people started to get pissed off and annoyed. half asleep on the floor i jumped up to the lights turning off and the crowd leaping to the front of the stage. they started the show off with their first track on their album x&y. 'square one' the crowd went wild. followed by politik and then yellow (which was my favorite song performed) as giant yellow ballons fell from the roof. chris then thanked the audience for comming instead of spending our saturday night hitting the town. a few jokes were said and the concert went on.

getting better and better. chris dedicated the song. 'dont panic' too the socceroos. followed by some random song dedicated to shane warn. who happened to be in the arena and pointed out after the song was dedicated to him. the crowd started chanting ' WARNNY WARNNY ' soon followed by him leaving the concert. haha.

the effects were amazing and the performance left the audience in a trance the boys left the stage. but came back with 3 massive hits 'Swallowed In The sea, In My Place (where chris martin decided to jump into the audience) and Fix You. The four of them took a bow. and left. it was fucken incrediable.

who eva says coldplay are boring. have clearly lost their minds.
