Postcards From Far Away
From WikiColdplay
Postcards From Far Away is an acoustic piano instrumental interlude written during sessions for Coldplay's fourth album, Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends, but was left off the final album.
Part of the piano score for the song was released as downloadable wallpaper from coldplay.com's Widgets section, allowing people to peform the track themselves. It was eventually released on the Prospekt's March EP, some time after it became a regular part of the setlist for the Viva La Vida Tour.
It is regularly performed as an outro to the solo piano version of The Hardest Part, and the two songs were released together on LeftRightLeftRightLeft in 2009.
